Il Team di Installazione di PrimaLuceLab ha completato l&#8217;installazione dell&#8217;antenna parabolica da 3 metri di diametro con montatura. Un ricevitore con backend e computer di controllo \u00e8 stato installato nella Sala Controllo situata al piano inferiore del dipartimento per consentire un facile controllo remoto. Particolare attenzione \u00e8 stata posta alla riduzione delle possibili interferenze radio grazie all&#8217;installazione del kit Radio-over-Fiber per radiotelescopi SPIDER.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/biAG6VRhbl0?rel=0\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La montatura e la colonna di SPIDER 300A sono stati installati su una base in cemento preparata sul tetto del Dipartimento di Fisica. La base \u00e8 collegata alla sala di controllo del dipartimento tramite una canalina in cui abbiamo inserito i cavi che servono al funzionamento del radiotelescopio: in questo caso abbiamo inserito il cavo in fibra ottica per collegare gli LNA al ricevitore e il cavo di alimentazione e dati necessario per far funzionare la montatura dell&#8217;antenna.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6034\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primalucelab.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/SPIDER-300A-radio-telescope-installed-at-the-U-S-Naval-Academy-Annapolis-MD-USA-image-1.jpg\" alt=\"SPIDER 300A radio telescope installed at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD (USA)\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Successivamente, il team di installazione di PrimaLuceLab ha assemblato l&#8217;antenna parabolica da 3 metri di diametro e l&#8217;ha collegata ai supporti posteriori che sono stati appositamente progettati per fornire la rigidit\u00e0 necessaria ad un&#8217;antenna di grandi dimensioni per supportare anche le condizioni di vento forte che potremmo aspettarci da un&#8217;installazione situata vicino all&#8217;oceano. L&#8217;assemblaggio dell&#8217;antenna \u00e8 stato completato aggiungendo i supporti frontali per l&#8217;H-FEED che includeva anche il kit convertitore Radio-over-fiber opzionale.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primalucelab.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/SPIDER-300A-radio-telescope-installed-at-the-U-S-Naval-Academy-Annapolis-MD-USA-image-4.jpg\" alt=\"SPIDER 300A radio telescope installed at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD (USA)\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&#8217;antenna \u00e8 stata collegata sopra alla montatura e fissata utilizzando numerose viti di grandi dimensioni. La piastra di connessione \u00e8 stata progettata per consentire una facile rimozione dell&#8217;intera antenna per motivi di sicurezza in caso di condizioni meteorologiche estreme e il sistema di contrappeso include anche un sistema di blocco con barra di sicurezza che, se inserita, blocca meccanicamente l&#8217;antenna in posizione di stow (puntando lo Zenith) per una resistenza al vento ancora pi\u00f9 elevata.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6021\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primalucelab.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/SPIDER-300A-radio-telescope-installed-at-the-U-S-Naval-Academy-Annapolis-MD-USA-image-5.jpg\" alt=\"SPIDER 300A radio telescope installed at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD (USA)\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quindi il team di installazione di PrimaLuceLab ha collegato il cavo in fibra ottica agli LNA e al convertitore ottico posizionati sopra l&#8217;H-FEED. Il cavo in fibra ottica sostituisce i normali cavi coassiali: questo migliora le prestazioni del sistema (rimuovendo la perdita di segnale tipica dei cavi coassiali) e riduce al minimo la sensibilit\u00e0 del sistema alle \u00a0interferenze \u00a0radio che era un fatto molto importante da considerare in questa installazione poich\u00e9 era sul tetto e vicino ad altri dispositivi elettrici.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6018\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primalucelab.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/SPIDER-300A-radio-telescope-installed-at-the-U-S-Naval-Academy-Annapolis-MD-USA-image-6.jpg\" alt=\"SPIDER 300A radio telescope installed at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD (USA)\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nella sala di controllo abbiamo installato, in un rack dedicato da 19&#8243; per fornire un&#8217;ottima gestione dei dispositivi e dei cavi, il ricevitore per radioastronomia H142-One che abbiamo sviluppato appositamente per il radiotelescopio SPIDER, insieme all&#8217;unit\u00e0 di controllo dell&#8217;antenna RCPU-100 di SPIDER. 300A, il controller per sensore vento ultrasonico US-WIND che parcheggia automaticamente l&#8217;antenna allo Zenith se il vento supera i 50 km\/h e controller Radio-over-Fiber per radiotelescopi SPIDER.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6015\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primalucelab.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/SPIDER-300A-radio-telescope-installed-at-the-U-S-Naval-Academy-Annapolis-MD-USA-image-7.jpg\" alt=\"SPIDER 300A radio telescope installed at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD (USA)\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&#8217;installazione \u00e8 stata completata allineando l&#8217;antenna alle radiosorgenti del cielo, seguita da una sessione di training in cui il nostro team ha introdotto le principali funzionalit\u00e0 del software RadioUniversePRO che abbiamo sviluppato appositamente per catturare ed elaborare i dati con il radiotelescopio SPIDER.
