Ora siamo tornati per aggiornarlo con il kit Radio-over-Fiber per radiotelescopi SPIDER che migliora le prestazioni del sistema rimuovendo la tipica diminuzione del segnale dei cavi coassiali.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0KscadRlCys?rel=0\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il kit Radio-over-fiber consente di sostituire i cavi coassiali standard, che collegano gli LNA dell&#8217;antenna al ricevitore, con un cavo in fibra ottica ed \u00e8 la soluzione perfetta per evitare la tipica perdita di segnale che \u00e8 normale quando si utilizzano cavi coassiali. Innanzitutto abbiamo installato sull&#8217;antenna i &#8220;Convertitori digitali su fibra ottica&#8221;, direttamente collegati agli LNA. Il cavo in fibra ottica esce dal coperchio di protezione superiore (la parte dell&#8217;antenna in alto a sinistra nell&#8217;immagine sotto) e corre al centro del rotore per fornire la migliore gestione dei cavi.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5527\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primalucelab.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/SPIDER-300A-at-Etscorn-Observatory-New-Mexico-Tech-university-near-VLA-upgraded-with-Radio-over-Fiber-kit-image1.jpg\" alt=\"SPIDER 300A al Etscorn Observatory (universit\u00e0 New Mexico Tech) vicino al VLA aggiornato con il kit Radio-over-Fiber\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&#8217;antenna del radiotelescopio SPIDER 300A presso l&#8217;Etscorn Observatory si trova a circa 40 metri di distanza dalla sala di controllo dove si trovano il ricevitore e il computer. Abbiamo inserito il cavo in fibra ottica nel condotto sotterraneo che collega la base del radiotelescopio SPIDER 300A alla sala di controllo. Un altro vantaggio del cavo in fibra ottica rispetto al cavo coassiale \u00e8 che \u00e8 pi\u00f9 piccolo quindi \u00e8 pi\u00f9 facile da inserire all&#8217;interno del condotto durante l&#8217;installazione.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5518\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primalucelab.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/SPIDER-300A-at-Etscorn-Observatory-New-Mexico-Tech-university-near-VLA-upgraded-with-Radio-over-Fiber-kit-image3.jpg\" alt=\"SPIDER 300A al Etscorn Observatory (universit\u00e0 New Mexico Tech) vicino al VLA aggiornato con il kit Radio-over-Fiber\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nella sala controllo abbiamo installato il &#8220;Convertitore fibra ottica&#8221; che si collega al cavo in fibra ottica e al ricevitore per radioastronomia H142-One. In questo modo il kit Radio-over-Fiber viene applicato al radiotelescopio senza la necessit\u00e0 di modificare il ricevitore. Il kit Radio-over-fiber comprende anche un attenuatore variabile attivabile quando il radiotelescopio SPIDER 300A \u00e8 puntato verso il Sole per evitare la saturazione causata dal fortissimo segnale radio proveniente dalla &#8220;nostra&#8221; stella.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5524\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primalucelab.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/SPIDER-300A-at-Etscorn-Observatory-New-Mexico-Tech-university-near-VLA-upgraded-with-Radio-over-Fiber-kit-image2.jpg\" alt=\"SPIDER 300A al Etscorn Observatory (universit\u00e0 New Mexico Tech) vicino al VLA aggiornato con il kit Radio-over-Fiber\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il radiotelescopio SPIDER 300A presso l&#8217;Etscorn Observatory (universit\u00e0 New Mexico Tech) vicino a VLA \u00e8 ora aggiornato con il kit Radio-over-Fiber ed \u00e8 pronto per essere utilizzato come un meraviglioso strumento per la divulgazione e l&#8217;educazione della radioastronomia!
